Splash Screen Help

How do i make it so my background doesnt mix with the buttons im havin trouble with the screen i made like does it need to be certain file or what.

Hrmmm I dont really understand what you are saying, but i might be able to help you. If u want to make a splash, then u must save it in bmp, and replace splash.bmp in Half Life>esforces>gfx>vgui(i think)

if that doesnt help try to be more specific

ok this is what i did i created my splash in photoshop and then i saved it as a bmp ok then i stuck it in the right gfx folder now... when i run esf it works and i can see the [picture but the buttons in esf screw up the picture.

No, he's talkin about the menu background!! You can change ure buttons in the gfx folder somewhere!! Just look around!!

but how do i get them to blend

um by makin the color scheme good....
