I have a question....in the new beta will you be able to go ssj?

Yes, you will. Also if your Character is not a Saiyan, you will be able to transform to other forms (for example: Freezer got his Stages, Cell and Boo too, and as far as I know Piccolo and Krillin will have some transformation too, but maybe not in Beta 1)
