Ive seen a ton of videos for the beta, and it looks wicked. And thats exactly my problem, my poopie video card (ATI Rage Pro 128 Turbo) could run ESF Alpha pretty smoothly on Direct3D, but this looks like it could destroy it. Any thoughts?
hehe I dont have any problems with anything. Everyone in the gaming world should should have a 1337 computer so they slow ones dont lag up the fast ones
I hopefully will get better computer tommarow, I am mostly doing this for a new keyboard, but I deicededto go a extra few stepps, I will hhopefully be ale to runefc faster, and a faster sytems means I don't lag as much
its more about the connection then it is the speed of your computer wit halflife but wit games like ut2003 and above all else....Battlefield1942 it is needed to have both good connection and a very nice computer wit a Damn good vidcard...trust me i know....im about to spend 200-250$ for a new vidcard for them both:tired: P.S sorry if thats a lil off topic
All I can say is, it's more demanding on graphics than Half Life is. For those who have "crappy" video cards though, we have provided 3 console commands that will allow you to pretty much turn off Joe's particle system should the strain become more than you pc can handle Of course, you'll still have to deal with the 1000+ r_speeds of the maps though
i have a pentium 3 with a geforce2 MX, 32 megabyte video card.. would this be good for beta 1? like would it run smoothly..
and this has nothing to do with esf so sorry but would my video card also be good for battlefield 1942.. for those who have it..
because im thinking of getting geforce 4.. but i wont get it.. if my video card can handle these games..
