Model and Beam Problems

Ok, since buying halflife and trying esf on it my beams and models look rubbish.
i know before when i was playing they looked just fine (when i had the dowloaded version of counterstrike) whats wrong with it?
and yes ive tried reinstalling both.

Make sure your not running in software rendering mode. Try Direct3D or Open GL
