Console?

Isnt there supose to be a console in esf?? I had my .exe set to C: \SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -dev -console.....but then i couldnt load any of my songs and it would freeze up, and when the map would load it would be all glitchy. Then if i took my sounds out it would load and i would see a console when i pressed ~ is there something wrong with my esf or is it just me?

normally i just go to my half life start up list and pick a different mod, lets say team fortress (the console then appears in the game) then just go to customise and put the mod on.

It still doesnt work when i press ~ i went to team fortress threw the start up menu and it still doesnt work.....

Go To Your ESF Folder, Open CONFIG.cfg with Notepad and change console "0" to console "1" (If console isn't in there just add it).

Then add -console to your ESF shortcut command line.
