Um need help

Ok this might have been posted before, i just searched but didnt find anything, how do i fix the bots to get them to work? if i change that hl.dll in the listlit.gam er whatever its called, then my ESF doesnt show up on custom game, or even when i have
-game esf, in the command line, so how can i fix it to where i get bots and my esf to be there? post a link if theres an answer somewhere else
