You Can Just Call Me The Ping King

I have serious connection problems.... I'm playing ESF with 56k internet and a 600 megahertz celeron.... Is there ANYTHING I can do to make this computer run ESF more eficiently? Or do I have to upgrade/buy a new computer?

Turn down ure gfx settings!! That should reduce lag and framerate loss some!!

Is that done with CL_fxquality? cuz i set that to 0 and it didn't help much, otherwise I don't know how to tone them down.

Go to Configuration, Video, Video Modes(think thats it), and just select a lower resolution!!

alright if that helps i guess i have no choice, but my screen is off center to the left on lower than 640x480 rez...

Ok nvm, I got the screen on the right...what do you call it...bearings. It looks good enough for a guy with 56k
My ping is alright for most servers now, thanks
