Shortcut???

Just wanted to know how to make a shortcut for ESF

go to your halflife icon

right click it

and put this next to C:/sierra/half-life.exe
put
C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game esf -numericping

I think...

if you made one it wont work anyway, it wont let you select esf from the filter, better to just enter half life or cs or whatever you have and go to mod viewer or custom game or whatever and select it

Umm what the hell is numericping? I dont think you need that command to play ESF or for that matter at all/

so .. this is a problem u got .. doesn't mean that every body will get it ..

i think it have to do with folder names or something .. try to make sure every thing is setup ok

no this is a problem that me 3 of my school friends and all of my clan members have. but i tried it the way that whoever replied said and it worked so i was just using a different way

This is how i did it:

1. Copied my Counterstrike icon
2. Right clicked and went to properties
3. Where it says C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game counterstrike, i changed counterstrike to esf.
4. For a little bit of decoration i went to properties and then to change icon. if you go into esf folder there is an icon pic
5. I double clicked on that, hit okay and i had my shortcut
