Help

I just dled the exe for esf beta 1 and I have no idea how to play, I have the retail counter-strike (not Half-Life)
and it is set up like this:
C:\Counter-Strike\cstrike

and installed esf like this:
C:\Counter-Strike\esforcesbeta\

what should i do now?

o yea when i go into cs and go to custom game it doesnt have esf on the list...

U must let ESF install in a folder called esf, not esforcesbeta. Try that, it should work.

Try renaming your folder to esf. See if that helps you out at all.

cs retail doesnt work for esf even if you got to the mod splash page working you cant play the game you get a client.dll error

but since the cs retails is basically hl just with some renamed stuff im not sure what the problem is

anyway it is an easy fix i believe so maybe the esf team can make an installer for you stupid people who bought cs retail becuz the only thing you get by buying it is problems with other mods

i have just relized when i go into the esf folder there is no application for esf...is it supposed to be like this?

nm to all who posted here i just relized my problem, the installation made an esf folder inside another esf folder which messed everything up so i changed it and now it works...thanks alot for trying to help...and cya im off to try it out
