Ok Ok Ok

Hi first of all I am a newbie to this and I just need some info.
I have been reading around bout the client.dll error and am downloading the latest hl now.
I just need a few things in case it doesnt work.
I need the DMZ fix if possible.
A link to a Client.dll (one that someone uses on their working game)
And a link to a Fmod.ddl (same deal with client)
Also I would like some pointers that people can give If I get errors.
I have read around and am trying everything that people have said!

Does this constitute spamming seeing as its in the newbie central AND beta 1?

Does your ESF not work or are you just trying to be prepared? If its door #2 then you might think of just installing and playing until you get an error.

1. I don't think the DMZ fix is an issue anymore (I assume we're talking about the one where it downloads a bunch of useless files).

2. I don't think FMod is a problem in Beta 1.

3. Client.dll, you're on your own, I don't know how to fix that other than reinstalling HL and making sure you have the latest versions of everything.
