Friendship wish

What does the wish "friendship" do. I mean, i know that it gives you an extra wishing point, but i can't figure out what a wishing point does....

Any info?

Everytime you make a wish you get a wish point. BUt you can also get a second wish point with the friendship wish. The team with the most wish points is suppose to be the winner.
