Bot i need a little help.

Help i downloaded the bots from the first page on this site then put the dll in the dll folder but in game when i ~ and press "addbot" no bots apper!

ok, you gotta edit liblist.gam with notepad, there should be a line like this

//gamedll "dlls\ESF-Bot.dll"
gamedll "dlls\hl.dll"

Change it to this

gamedll "dlls\ESF-Bot.dll"
//gamedll "dlls\hl.dll"

... Is it realy that hard to install the bot or have any one off you who asks ever used the readme file

still doesn't work do you have to go to planet half life to download something else to use the bots?

Change the text in your liblist.gam into this

and save the bot dll file in the esf\dlls dir

damnit still wont work when i type "addbot" it says "unknow command"or something like that...help me.......

Make a shortcut to your "hl.exe", then go to the shortcut's properties and edit it to this: "(directory)\hl.exe -console -game esf"

Blade can i ask you a question can you choose the teams of the bots?

Oh and i would read the readme to see to add the bots its easier

:cry: i've also done all of that and they still don't work, i can't play on line due to lag so i need bots.

For all you people who cant get bots to work try this:

1: download zip file on www.esforces.com's front page.

2 put and unzip that file in your HL directory

3 Read ream me

4 Place the dll in your esf folder.( if you cannot see dll go to "View" then "Folder Options" then click the "View" Tab and click "show all folders")

5After you have put the dll in the dll folder in the esf folder go to the liblist.gam and edit it to this:

6:Make sure to save it that way.

7: edit your hl shortcut file to C:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game esf

8: double click on it go to multiplayer select map and once its done loadind type in the console: addbot.Thats it!!

Note: The game might crash to avoid this type in console: cl_fxquality 0

P.S.: Dont make the same mistake i made by putting the dll in the ALPHA ESF folder!! put it in the Beta folder.... the folder should say esf not esforces.
