Help =/

Hey could anyone tell me why when I connect to a server there's no writing in the console ("Connection Accepted by ....") or anything else. When I do connect to the server I usually spike alot and I have no console. I used to be able to reinstall and fix it for a couple days but now it doesn't work anymore

Do you have a shortcut that takes you straight to esf? If not reconstruct a new one that reads:

hl.exe -esf

That would fix your console prob. For the other stuff whats your Connection and comp stats?

I usually get into esf by getting into half-life and then hitting custom game and going to esf from the mod list. It doesn't happen with any other mods.

Anyway I have a Celeron 800, Gf2 mx, and 256 mb ram

Just make a new Shourtcut its easyer + you dont need to go to custom Game.

hl.exe -esf -console

eh shouldn't it say

"HLDIRTHINGY/hl.exe" -game esf

mostly add -console as well ..can't live without one and some mods defaulth disable it ( hell don't know why )
