The melee in this game needs to be fixed. IT IS IN DIRE NEED TO BE FIXED! I've played this beta very much and the melee, at first glance seems cool, gets to be VERY annoying. I doubt I will play until next release because of the disgusting state melee combat is in.
The problem is that it turns out to be either a win or lose situation, and it is almost ALWAYS in favour of the defender. C'mon, there needs to be more skill in it than that... I know, some people have found little ways around it, like flying behind the person, attacking from different angles, etc. But it does not always work.
In any case, the melee system needs to be overhauled or finished up, since it does not seem complete, in any case, it really bothers the hell out of me, making the game reptative and boring.
