I cannot start the game

I seem to have a lil problem. I installed ESF in my HL directory, the only problem is I dont know how to start to play. I see the icon, but nothin happens when i click on it, i don't know what to do. Please help me, it'd be of real good help.

ok once u have installed it load up Half-life and go to custom games in the main menu
look for beta 1 and actvate it

That icon you think you see isnt a .exe, it's a .ico, just an icon picture file, which you can assign to the ESF shortcut you create yourself
