play?

right im new here and i recently downloaded the beta 1 version of ESF, i have half-life......i got ready to play after setting ESF up.......and i cant play ;/ how come? how do i play the actual game? how do i start it up?
please help me!

Just run halflife , once in halflife go to custom game and choose ESF from the listing there.

Press the activate button and then continue to go to the internet games section of halflife..

Go to filter and change your filter so that it only shows the ESF game/mod

Pick a server and enjoy

if your gonna play on the net then dl a system that finds servers like "game spy" "all seeing eye"
and so on,
after that just enter esf threw that

ok, im in halflife now......but i cant find "custome game" where will this be?

on the main menu

well...its not.....what version of half life do i need? cus mine might be too old to add mods

then go dl the new 1
that really might b the problem

Success! i downloaded the update...updated my half life...and ESF works! woohoo.

If you want a shortcut just copy a cs or dod shortcut or whatever shortcut links to a game. Then go to properties and change the game to esf instead of the origional game name.

eg. C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game cstrike

change cstrike to esf. Then for no real extra effort, in the properties box look to the bottom and see change icon and there is an icon in the esf folder I think it should say DBZ.

well hey, what do ya know, it is broken.

Oh well, If you do a search on that site you'll find it easily enough, they're a great alternate to fileplanet.

yeh....are you sure thats 10 gigs or memory?
because it could just be 10 gigs of space....and you should know that memory and space are very differetn....to free somememory...maybey try sshutting down other applications which you have open.....that might work

No it is Space!!! Or when i said **** there is 10GB free diskspace!!!
