graphics problem!

Ok, I can't understand what's wrong with my graphics. When I go to my local game store there is computers there and they hjave ESF on them. When I play there the graphics are great and the game was awsome. After playing it there I went home and downloaded ESF, but the graphics sucked. My graphics card can't be a problem. I have a Vodoo Ti 4200 or something like that. Do you like have to download a special program to enhance the graphics??? Please help me!!!! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

make sure you have the video settings in opengl and not software and turn the resolution to 1024x1248 or whatever it is and it should look alot better, also, make sure you have the fx on highest, i forget the command i think someone will pop by with it

LMAO you cant turn fx off you either have them on low medium or high you can't run ESF in software or it will crash evertime someone makes a beam.
here is the command:

cl_fxquality 1 (low)
cl_fxquality 2 (medium)
cl_fxquality 3 (high)

If you have lag or frame rate drop keep it on 2 otherwise 3 is best.
