all you have to do is right click while the beam is in the air.

you can also HOLD the beam while loading it!

when you load a beam, press right mouse button quicly, and HOLD it! then you are holding the beam! so you dont have to fire it when loading bar is full!

i think the smartest thing for everyone (n00b in halflife or not) who hasn't played the esf beta 1 yet you should read (watch) the manual!!!It's really helpful and without it you won't know everything!!
