Console Problems

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but whenever i try to get the console open, it won't.
In all the other mods it works but not in ESF, is there something wrong
Yes i have put -console into the shortcut

Then try this, go into a file in your ESF directory called config.cfg, open it with Notepad, and add these commands into it.
bind "~" "toggleconsole"
bind "`" "toggleconsole"
