when is the beta 1.1?

can anyone tell me approximately when beta 1.1 will be out, and maybe give me an idead bout how big it will be? when i asked this question about the beta, i got people saying it would be 300 megs, so maybe i could have some more reliable info for this one?

I'm pretty sure beta 1.1 is a patch. I'm not going to pretend I know just how big it will be, but I really doubt it will be 300 megs.

As for when it comes out...when it's done. You can get an outline on the frontpage; but it depends on how much time the team has to spare, how much optional stuff is to be put in, etc. etc.

for the size, i think it will be a small patch. since there aren't many new models/maps/sprites. most things are code (the dll files) i guess. but i don't know. this is just my estimation. hopefully less than 20 megs...

The wisest approach to these inquiries would seem to be posting a sticky on the front page in bright orange with the subject of "Don't ask when Beta 1.1 is coming out"

Beta 1.1 will be you when it is done. Play beta 1 for now.
