what do you need exactly to play esf

whenever i try to play esf this message comes up
"could not connect to game server Reason: could not complete connection atempt"


Also do i need to download servers if i do where are they put.


P.s i have bought half life game of the year edition, also i have downloaded counterstrike 1.5, fusion pack 10, and esf beta 1 which are all in the same folder. Plz Help me out help a brother out!!!!!!!

When you get that error, that means there is something wrong with the server or your pc can't connect to the server. There is nothing wrong with your half-life or esf if you installed it correctily. Have you tried playing counterstike online? If that works esf will work too. You probably didn't found a good server where you can connect, i have that too sometimes. If i'm wrong, someone correct me, im just trying to help.:]

Then its a password protected server, mostly used by a clan.
They don't want public people in it.

Just try another server without password. (if you see a lock left of the server that means ts locked with a password)
