Help!!!!!

HELP! I cant play esf,I do have half-life counter-strike not the orignal half life. When I go to custom game on cs its not there I already downloaded it and installed it on my computer when I click on the esf icon it says that I have to open with a program and I dont know what to do could you help me!

make sure u installed it into C:\Sierra\cstrike\ (or so) and not C:\sierra\half-life\

well to actually run the programme, u have to turn on halflife (hl.exe) and then go to configure game, highlight esf, activate it and then u can play it, you dont need counter-stirke, only the original or game of the year edition
