Only viedeo cards with 8 or more MB RAM support OpenGL

If your card doesn't support it, you've got pitch ...
choose in HL menu the default driver from OpenGL ... then he'll say if your vid-card supports it

Good luck

lol R@!D3R ... I din't know this ... but ordinary there are 8 MB ... sorry

Hey Norman ... it's better if you deacitvate Anti-Aliasing ... and your fps will grow !!! (only ATI-Cards are good in that)

I saw this with the mouse already ... I think it's your vid-card (maybe RivaTNT2), but i don't know

(OpenGL is the best !!!)

Good luck

LOL TNT2 and anti-aliasing. I've got a Geforce4Ti 4200 @ 4400 and really no problems concerning frames in HL or even UT2003 with anti-aliasing :p
But I already had this problem with my old computer and a TNT2

depends on your graficcard
nvidia-chips run better on opengl
ati-chips on direct3d (not 100% sure)

I have a ATI 3D Rage Pro.
I need to download the newest driver, because it don't support OpenGL.

pretty naff one, a NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT2 PRO
I'm pretty sure it supports OpenGL. My old one (a TNT2 M64) supported it too. check out www.nvidia.com for new drivers but be sure that the new drivers support your card.
