Help!!! Can't Play, Can't Update, Can't Do ****!!!

i download the mod off of who knows where, when i try and create LAN game i get error saying cant find something something c:\halflife\whatever!!!\Sprites\whatever!!!!, and then exits half-life.

when i try to play online it says i need update and goes to updater, updater tells me invalide internet connection dammit!!!

dont use the updater, it sux, download the patch from fileplanet.com or google or something, the newest one is 1.1.1.0

what do i enter in the search engine i cant find anything on update for esf 1.1.1.0

BTW the version i have is Beta 1 or something. Is it the same as 1.1.1.0

*sigh* no.. you need to get the latest hl patch which is hl1.1.1.0 and make sure you got ESF Beta 1. That should resolve all your problems!
