well if you ever watched the orginal dragonball you would know.
It leaves an image of the person for like 5 secs lets say, but the person isn't really there

Zanzoken is teleport, and it doesnt always leave an after image. The after image technique and zanzoken are two different techniques but can be used together.

Instant transmission is teleportation. Zanzoken is zanzoken. In DBZ they just call it teleport.

American DBZ -- Teleport

No difference, just the languages.

Basically it's a quick burst of speed.
