client.dll error, i tried the fmod thing, so dont even suggest it

could not load library D:\HALFLIFE\esf\cl_dlls\client.dll

i get that, i looked at ther directory, the file is there, and everything's exactly the same as it it's staed in the error, this is beta 1 btw

:scared: Well Look are you sure you put fmod icon on your ESF folder????? because you have to put it there if it didnt work and you put it there put on your CS or HF folder and the ESF folder too TRY IT....It worked for me fine.:tired:



:\ DONT PUT THE FMOD ICON ON THE CLIENT DLL FOLDER!!!!! PUT IT WITH ALL THE FILES JUST OPEN ESF FOLDER AND JUST PUT THE FMOD ICON THERE DUH!!!!!!!! :\

Get the latest patch for halflife. Usually that's the problem if you get the client.dll prob. The new installer should instal fmod.dll in your halflife dir, make sure it is there, if it's not, get it from www.fmod.org
