I need help ..Me=Newbie

I have the Game Countersrtike and all ...do i need to upgarde to patch 1005 to make the game work ...or can i just play without the patch upgrade....also how do i add the servers to play on ESF ? sry for being a newbie....Thnx in adanced

You need the patch, and also just in case you didnt know, make sure ESF is in the CS folder

Actually since he is talking about the Retail Version of Counterstrike, he doesn't need Half-Life's 1.1.1.0 patch, he needs the latest counterstrike patch which(after searching a bit) I believe is 1..0.0.5

O ok ...so if i have retail version of the game i just need patch 1.1.1.5 ...But wat if i have a downloaded version of Counterstrike i need this 1.1.1.1.0 u speak of right......where can i get it . Thank alot for advanced.
