cant see movie

y cant i see the movie? i just got divx 5.0.3 and i have quicktime. wuts wrong?

it doesnt work with quicktime....you have to download windows media player.

nope still cant see it. it says connecting and doesnt move

read the words under the link very carefully and you should find our awnser which is: REQUIRES DIVX theres a link on the front page in big letters

what u cant read? he said he has the new divx. try right clicking the link and say save as, see if that works.

Install the latest divx codec and watch the video file in DIVX PLAYER 2.0 that comes with the codec installation. That's your best shot of getting it to work.

yerr but i try 2 download and it keeps stoping saying ( server reset)

That other guy is right (guy who made thread) i got all the stuff you guys are talking about but all it says in the bottom "when i look closly" is it saying connecting..... guess what it just freezes and also i have cable so there.

Did you try to play it right off the site or did you download it to a specific place first? Because I tried to play it right off the site and that didn't work at all, but when I downloaded it first, it did. You might wanna try that.

To save it to your hard drive in IE
Right click the vid link and click 'Save Target As' and pick the location

ok i think ill try downloading it cuz i dont think it did when i did it. thx

edit- umm how do i save it to my disk. when i right click it it says save shortcut and the other things

And for the very few people that might have trouble playing it through DivX Player 2.0....

Play it through Windows Media Player IF DivX Player stops loading any frames but continues with the sound,I have that problem so it might some people who have similar problems

Problem: Movie gets stuck on the beta screen yet the sound keeps going.

Solution: Uninstall divx and then reinstall the newest divx.
