i just installed a mod and every time i put admin_fun on it says im not allowed please help

mh... try to type ADMIN_FUN 1 or 0

1 = activade
0 = deactivade

run the script and i think theres a step that you select who can only use it or only password

o yeah. you must set your oWn password for your own. so you are the owner

Yepyep. Go to your listenserver.cfg if thats where you installed adminmod to. then scroll down and look for fun mode. change the value to 1
If you installed the newwer versions, go to your adminmod.cfg file and change funmode to 1....

admin_password password
password= whatever your pass is.

but you have to set your permissions which is located in addons/adminmod/config/users.ini

wrong. This is the server password command.

Don't make new threads about admin-mod, we have a dedicated sticky for it.

admin_fun 1

just type that in console and you should be good to go as long as you have y our permissions set correctly.

Does he even have his adminpass.cfg set up probably with "_pwhome" password blah blah?

Aparently not.

To get permissions you were right about setting access in the users.ini, but its no good if he doesn't have the password field set.

Now, in response to your primitive form of communication, (ie where all the stars appear and you proceed to insult me.), I was telling you that admin_password was incorrect because to set the password you must use the password_field.

admin_password is like sv_password. So before you say you know more about admin-mod than me again, think twice and reconsider your position. Because you do not.
