how do i check my Fps???

Open up console and type net_graph 3 to show your fps. Also type fps_max 100 to make sure you are getting all the fps half life will allow.

Also cl_showfps 1 is a good command if you just want to see the fps, since its up in the top left hand corner and out of the way :)

Hehe...my optimized ESF autoexec.cfg file makes it so I get 100 fps at almost all times. :0) I check it with the show fps command. It's much less intrusive.

Optimised your config file to get more fps? Like lowering texture details? And you only want to use fps_max 100 when you are testing what your system can recieve regularly. If your FPS is usually around 60 you'll probably want to set your maxfps around 50 or 55. When your fps bounces around you can potentially lose packets and lag yourself.

So its better to have 55 than 100 fps?....

yes that is him,too bad i coudn't watch him pwn again....

If you experience lag when you set your fps to a higher value youd best set it around 30-50

:O. i got my fps at my max at 100.. but when am flying i get around 30 to 40.

i dont suppose there is a guide anywhere showing how you did this, since i would find it very useful indeed
