changing start ki?

Can you change the ammount of Ki you start with on yourown server? I just want to use it to mess around with some stuff, is there anyway?

Indeed, maybe in the next version they can set it as a cvar. But instead of making all the classes change so they're equal....make it so the cvar multiplies/add or whatever to the ammount of ki that player already has.

There isn't a lot of logic behind starting off at a higher PL. The game is balanced as it is. If everybody could transform off the bat characters like Krillin would own the skies. Besides, there isn't anything all that interesting after you hit about 5,000,000 anyway.

yea but sometimes u just wanna mess around in ur own server (without other people in the game) or want to test it out so u gotta wait for someone to come in to go SSJ then kick them so u can get on with ur business

play capture the dragonballs :notice: wish untill you have the translevel (most coolest with krillin) :notice: transform :notice: addbot and fly in just one second from side to side!!!!! REALY sweet for a time

back to the point... i think the chars should increase ki amount as pl gets higher as it did in alpha 2.
in alpha 2, if u had a high pl as vegeta, you could let fly several fully charged final flashes, while flying aswell, before bothering to recharge ki. i know in alpha 2 the ki amount u gain is rahter high and so gets bit silly at really hi pls, but still would be nice to have something similar in this, be cool as chars with high pl would be able to have frantic but long battles, instead of run out of ki after 3 secs.
by the way i only play botplay now as my comp is ****!

I fully agree

My point in total honesty is, People want to run there own servers, if you added a setable cvar to it, then they can change it, or leave it the way it is.

Most likely like you said, they'll leave it normal, unless they want to mess around and see what stuff is like. (exactly all i wanted to do)

I personally don't have room on my computer to hold much more stuff, so i can't download those bots, and all that other nifty stuff.:cry:

I like this idea I'd love to start off at transforming level... waiting for Vegeta's big bang is boring.

I disagree, because look at the tv program. Goku fires a full strength kamehameha and he is pooped, whether he has 1,000,000 powerlevel or 750... Its the strength that changes, not the KI it uses. Maybe you should be able to telport more though, because they do that lots more as they get stronger.

Anyway, i think that it is a good idea to be able to change starting PL, because if u download some enew transform animations, i takes ages to go through with everyone and check themout. You can use that Model Viewer program, but it is kinda lame there because you dont get the full effects.

agreed esfn00b, but i'm really new here....Started 2 days ago actually, and when i want to figure how everything works i'd like to mess around alittle on my own server. Well i can't because i can't change the start ki :\

That's the point...I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it....But SOME people may want to change the start level.

Not everybody, honestly i wouldn't if i was playing a regular game. Although i do want to have that command so i can mess around on my own server, and find which fighter i like best.

maby u c if they can make an equal 2 the hazard corce were u can choose a char and start with there perfect lvl of power

Actually, i'm down to 500mb left. My computer's quite old, and i have to save the rest of that space for private stuff (music, porn, ect...)
