Yo sup do yall have any advice half life gets mest up man I get on a game right and i can only play for 30sec. and then it closes completely why can yall tell me what is wrong

Here is wha tyou need to do, open Half Life or esf up, go to Configurations - Video - Video modes, and switch it OUT of software mode, either to OpenGL or Direct3d

most people find opengl is better tahn direct3d. .

I have version 1.0.0.0 do I have to have the patch to play this mod?

Yes, you need Half-Life version 1.1.1.0 to play ESF.
