For example a release date? ^^

there is no release date. there has never really been a release date. when the team has proformed all the testing needed, one of the team members will announce when its going to be released. or atleast i think it goes something like that.
there has been no news because...there really wasnt anything big to report. other than more testing to be done.

What I'm really scared of is that when 1.1 is released....there will be millions of ppl going to dl it....it will be like tons of ppl fighting to get on a bus or something....and if ur connection is not fast enough u will have to wait for a very long time....

What I'm scared of is using Gamespy. The actual download will probably take me half an hour at the very most, but I'll have to wait in line for an hour to d/l it. :\

They'll probably announce a release date once the linux and windows versions are finished, and they find suitable hosts. In other words, when the relase is no longer in their hands.
