Keys Binds

Hey I just thought I would make this thread to see how other ESF players config there controls. Post in here how you have your keys binded (fly is binded to X, Block is binded to G, etc)

My keys are just set to default,
Fly=F
Block=Q
Charge=E
Teleport=R
Jump=SPCBar
Crouch=CTRL
Character Change=C
Team Change=V
Forward=W
Back=S
Left=A
Right=D

Thats about all of my binds, please share yours, it interesting seeing how others use binds

I have:

Enter - Jump
Shift - Block
Ctrl - Teleport
arrows to move

my 5 mouse buttons and mouse wheel contain: turbo, powerup, fly, attack1, attack2 and change weapon on the mouse wheel.

i have:
Caps Lock- power up
Shift- block
ctrl-walk
Q-turbo
f-fly
space-jump
w, a, s, d,- move
Mouse:
button 1,2- fire, mouse button 3- teleport, wheel- change attacks

i have:

shift - jump
space bar - fly
left mouse button - fire attack
0 ins - second fire attck
right mouse button - power up
toggle up - toggle through attacks
up arrow - forward
down arrow - backwards
left arrow - straft left
right arrow - straft right
/ - acend
. - decend

1/end = turbo

I think that's mostly it. Ppl tend to think I'm weird for mostly playing on the right side of my keyboard

All I know is that I can play ANY game, use a bunchy of different functions, and never have to move my hand. You should try it. The right side fits like a glove. Though it's not for those who aren't rather dextrous Each finger of the left hand has its own job Pointer handles the forward/backward movements and weapon switches, the middle finger handles all functions keys (ins, home, page up, page down, end, delete), the ring finger does things like walk and crouch plus anything else you bind around shift and enter, and the pinky handles strafing and the other buttons around ; and '. Normally I have seconday fir set to the keypad 0 and reload to keypad . . Either the thumb or the pointer operates these.

Mouse 1 - Fire 1
Mouse 2 - Forward
A - strafe left
s - backwards
d - strafe right
f - toggle fly
q - block
g - teleport
y - ascend
space - jump
x - fire2

Haha...Nostalgia, you are gonna love this. It might explain why I can shoot a beam and then block and be using melee instantaneously, as you may or may not have noticed the night in the APE server. Hehe.

Fly=Numpad1
Block=Right shift, or Mouse4
Charge=Middle Mouse (my wheel pressed in)
Teleport=Numpad4 (I've gotta change this...limits the directions I can teleport in)
Jump=Numpad0
Crouch=Right Ctrl
Character Change=C
Team Change=T
Forward=Up arrow
Back=Down Arrow
Left=Left Arrow
Right=Right Arrow
(About the arrows...well, what can I say, I was a Doom kid...hehe)
Weapon Switch=Mousewheel
(Now here's the cool one!)
Select Melee=Mouse5

It's a handy bind to have because like I said, I can block someone and without having to cycle or reach across the keyboard I can instantly select melee...

...I think I'm gonna try Mouse4 for teleporting today.

lol how can you remember all that? that is why i use simple controls

I use default except for the key h and k

Bind K = "say im not Goku nor Vegeta, I am the instrument of your Destruction"
Bind H = "say Kakarott, Id rather die then to fuse with you!"


Hey what can i say? i like quotes

oke mine is for left handed only. I use my mouse with my left hand and with the right hand i use these keys:

arrow keys movement, and strafing, left and right is left and right strafe
del to block, ins to jump, end to teleport, pgdwn to flu, shift to charge and ? to put on turbo....it may sound wierd but i use it on my laptop so the keys are diffferent.!!

aah muffins, i like to base my binds RIGHT in the middle, simple to remember and everythings close for my left hand ^_^
my binds are as follows
forward=up
back=down
strafe left=left
strafe right=right
jump=KP_0 (ins)
fly=space/kp_del
block=crtl
power up=enter/z
turbo=shift
teleport= KP_1 (kp_end)
block= button next to shift ^_^

bleh... nothing special, but it makes all the esf functions close to my hand and can react with speed, i can also move my fingers with a added agility because i play the grand piano alot, keeps those fingers busy and its fun, you should try it, play a the piano for a year until your capable of playing mintuet with full chords and other classics, dont call me a fool or a puff, it help me in any game and helps 0wn about 15 peeps at once ^_^

Pain, i think he ment the basic controls, not every one lol
