Actually you can play off lan without it and for those who don't know what All Seeing Eye is, its a program that lets you search through servers from your desktop, double click on the server of choice then it loads up esf and your set. It works with lots of other mods too like CS and DoD plus Quake too.

yeh but its very simple to use and its allot more reliable than the gamebrowse window built into halflife
