The 1.2 patch

Does anyone know what changes it will have?

Because obviously the team has already figured out all of the next patch after just releasing this one...

jesus guys, you better not start whining about 1.2, be thankful the team is working on this at all and producing such great material. be satisfied with 1.1 for a while, it's a real gem.

Comon, you knew it was going to happen.
Just give it time, I highly doubt the team has a write-up on what Beta 1.2 is going to have already.

I didn't detect any whining. YOU better start reading.

AFAIK 1.2 will mainly be a melee revamp patch. We might get another character, but it's doubtful. Minor graphic changes too, but mostly just advanced melee. Give them a month or two and they will probably have a 1.2 outline for us.

Someone said "1.2 is where there are gonna be the big changes" melee changes arent big.

We actually had a beta 1.2 outline for a long time now, what do you think we work off of ? We have been working on beta 1.2 for the last past 3 weeks or so...
Anyways, we will release the outline later, we just released beta 1.1.

1) The melee system is being completly redone, its a big change. This is another reason why trunk sword is so basic + the melee wasnt changed too much. No use in coding a lot of stuff for something thats about to get redone.
2) Melee is just one of the new features, there will be more then that...

We are going to try to make up for what we did "wrong" in the beta 1.1 release in beta 1.2...

Melee is rougly 60% of ESF. A total rebuild of ESF is a completely new game. Get used to it.

?i never use melee. i thought it was the part they worked on the least...all you do is fly up to people and hit them
