my own game

what can i get to help me meake a mod, like the one they used to make ESF, i want to make m own, where can i download the program, dose any one know:idea:

search the web, it isn't a magical program that you say "I want a blue beam and do 43 damage and make the model krillen". you have to know how to program, model, map, etc... there is a lot of work that goes into a mod of this type... search for a half-life sdk (softwear development kit) first, then other stuff
