i need help

i have played all the esf mods but i have unistalled all my half life stuff but i reinstalled it all. i pretty much wiped my computer clean. now i have installed half life again and the new esf but i doesn't work along with my half life. anyone have a suggestion?

Did you dl 1.1.1.0? If you didn't do it.

i just did it is better but i can't find any servers to play at.

it keeps sayin "Couldn't get a list of servers" at the bottom of the screen

Make sure that you have the correct CD key in and nobody else is using it. If the problem persists contact sierra or WON and ask them whats going on, there might be a problem with server validations and such that is causing an error. Also find out if it does it for all mods, or just for ESF.

I dont think being unable to find games has anything to do with your cd key. You only run into cdkey problems when you try joining a game and its in use or not valid. Saying it cant get a list of servers means that half life cant connect to the net. If you have a firewall try setting it so that half life is able to access the net.
