Help on running game

Im sure I've done evrything right but I cant make my ESF work
this is what happens
I Try to create a LAN Game but then when i say ok to create the map it starts to run and all u see is the background for 1/2 a sec and it stops goes back like if u disconnected and says could not load library.

Can you play client side games? Ie, you can connect to a server . . . and play normally?

I heared u have to down load patches

When i try to play ESF it says could not load library and show C:\Sierra\Half-Life\esf\cl_dlls

i tried to play with other people but it says the same thing

Make sure you downloaded the FULL ESF CLIENT and not the update.

I really need to research what errors it gives when people just download the update.. if it gives any at all.

I have the full version of ESF Beta 1.1

Then say it. Try re-installing or getting it from another mirror. That packet might have been corrupted, or missing files

i reinstalled it where did you get yours Lone wolf

I dont remember, but try a different mirror. Also, be sure if that if your running Windows, you get the windows version instead of the Linux one, and vise versa if you have Linux.

Draco if you read this can u tell me where u got your ESF

Also make sure you have the latest HalfLife update installed.

its not the mirror.. you might have installed esf beta 1.1 incorectly so that you will need to install beta 1.0 and makes sure thats works then install esf beta 1.1. if somtin still wrong then you will need to download a cl.dll patch and make sure your running the new bots not the old bots!!

im dl a patch but not sure if its the newest

well unistall beta 1.1 and 1.0 and reinstall beta 1.1 and 1.0 and should work great

omg.. uninstall both, and then just downlaod the FULL ESF VERSION 1.1
