How do i create a server for me and my friend to play in.

for some reason we cant find each others servers on the all seeing eye server. Like if i make one my friend cant find it and if he makes one i cant find it. and alot of people are makin servers why cant i?

Well, try to find eachothers IP's, if you can connect through the console by typing Connect [insert IP adress here]. If you can't then you probably have a firewall or router and won't be able to join eachothers games.

now we cant FIND eachothers games thats the prob.

no, i think u misunderstood, one perosn create a game and send (thorugh msn or ICQ) the IP adress of the server, and in half-life (or even server query for that matter) typing in that IP adress and hit enter.

You can get the IP adress of a computer quite easially, if your in windows 95, 98, look in the windows directory for a file called "winipcfg" and when u open it, it will tell all.

if in XP go to a dos propt and i think the command is "ipconfig"
