Owkay, don't know if this is spam but anywayz:
I have 2 computers, on broadband...
I want the old one to be a dedicated server but what should a good pc be to have a ping less than 150 ???
What specs do u need...

Well, you don't really need a good PC, just a good connection (I'd recommend Cable and higher)

yea my comp that I used to host a dedicated linux server on was 256mb pc133 sdram, and 466 mhz processer, not sure of the cache or fsb.

A recommended internet connection is about 128kb/s up, and about 300kb/s down to host around 8 people perfectly (considering they all don't lag alot)

I guess my P II 233 Mhz with only 32 Mb SD-ram won't work :(
