Ok, when i go into LAN, or WON, it'll say, cannot get in, reason: WASAENSTOCK or something and WON's deal is that I guess I don't have the updated version or something! it bugs ME!!!!!! AGHHHHHHHH!!!!! SUPER SAIYAN 999999999!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanx, it says something about, like cannot start, you know when that wierd backround appears, and theres like random messages, well, it stops after it says cannot start reason: WASAENSTOCK.

Halflife either freezes, you don't give it enough time, or your not giving us the right error. There should be an error if it sends you back to the screen where you pick servers.

it freezes up!!!!!! It wont let me type anything on the target thing, and it freezes my computer, had to resart it!!!

your not supposed to be able to type anything while its loading
how much time do you wait before you restart your computer?
if your computer is slow it will take awhile and it might appear that it froze. Try what mr. satan said in your other thread it might help

It goes all white and freezes up. Found actual message: cannot get IPX socket name reason: WASAEONSTOCK it freezes like 3.5 seconds after that I wanna play ESF!!!!!!! It wont let me!!! (WEEP)

It exits out, and i cant press anything for like 5 minutes so i resart it, have no patience, in case you cant tell....

Add -noipx to your launch line.

He means your LAUNCH LINE, you can edit it in your shortcut properties to ESF.

I had a problem like that then i delete the whole half-life then i re install it then it was fine
