ESF installer crash

When i try to install ESF it crashes while checking for previously installed components. At first when i look in taskmanager it says it isn't responding. Afterwards, it crashes and exits. I have tried downloading it from a different mirror and got the same thing. Has anyone else had this problem? Please help

try waiting it out, thats what i did and it worked just fine, just be patient, go make a sandwiche and see if it is back in order when you return :-D

thats the thing. I wait it out and it crashes, not just saying its not responding. It crashes then closes itself.

does it crash after you check to see if its responding?
or will you leave it alone the entire time and it crashes

I do both. I check to see if its responding, then it crashes. I have left it alone and it sent me a message that it crashed, then closed.

Try downloading it from a different site. The installer might have been corrupted during download.

I've tried that 3 times. still didnt work. What i finally had to do was download the 1.0 version and use the 1.1 patch. Jeez
