i downloaded it, installed it and tried to play it. but it couldn't find cstrike.exe can someone help me

u actually have to buy the real game. u just don't download the game????

Correct, you have to buy the retail half-life or counter-strike and installl tham first, then you can install and play esf. Its not like it costs much, half-life goes for around $10 these days.

No. You have to BUY halflife or counter-strike in a store. If you download ether of them you will not be allowed to play online and esf is an online game only.
