[i]...blah blah...[/i]The most users online states the date, time and numbers (along with number of users), for the recorded time when the maximum number of users were online simultaneously.
The next line after the :notice: means the users currently browsing the forums.
As for Today's Birthdays, it's self explanatory.
You probably saw a rare exception. Hope that cleared up things for you. =P
