Playing online (very newbie)

i just got half life and dl esf, i wanted to know how do i play online? there arent any servers showing up on the list

go to console and type in 68.3.195.186

majin_slave i dont think that would help much

go to net games and click filters
click the filters that would make sense to u
on the bottom of themap thing it should say hl, cstrike whatever, change it to esf to play esf
then just update

i think i am going to make a small all seeing eye reply *all seeing eye is a advanced server search program for mods and games*

download all seeing eye at http://www.udpsoft.com/eye2/index.html

look in the right and click on N.america or Europe to download the Program..

Next when installed. and you launched the program you see a small box popping up with the titel: SETUP WIZARD. and you see welcome to all seeing eye. now press NEXT

click here your connection speed or let all seeing eye checking your speed by clicking "Auto detect connection setting" when did that. press NEXT again. then press next again cuz the next 1 is just a text box.

Now you see a box called GAMES.
*maybe you see half-life or counter strike already under "INSTALLED GAMES" so not. click the + at "Not installed" Select the game you want, and in this case. search for HALF-LIFE. when you found that. click on the half-life game in the list.

Then look in the right. you see

Player name
Config File
Program location

type in player name, the name you want.
Skip config file.
in program location. search the game exe file. example c:\half-life\hl.exe

when you did that. press NEXT again. then click on COMPLEET.

ok. when you did that. half-life is now added in the list. look in the top left. and you see half-life
+ the half-life icon. press on the + next to it.

then you see a big mod list. search "earth special forces" press the + on it. and click on 1.1 . then right click on 1.1 and click on REFRESH.

you now see servers where you can play on. when you want to play on. double click on the server.

also you see where the server is playing from in what country.


*tip: you can press F5 to to refresh servers..

ur filter is vary small thats caused by not updating ur hl the newest version is uummm... :scared: . um...... i forgot oh welll but same problem happend to me
