esf 1.2? hl 2?

when beta 1.2 is gonna be released do you most have half life 2?

I think u are asking if u have to have hl2 for beta 1.2 and the answer is no...the dev team have already said that they arent moving to hl2....but i wanna ask a question directed to the dev team...would u guys be too terribly upset if some other team took your ideas for melee and such and made a hl2 mod? not necessarily take the esf name but just the game play style...just wondering

esf 1.2 will not be on hl2 nor is there any plans to go to hl2
