how can i start playing the game and how do get a character.i am already registered.

You did not need to register for the forums in order to play ESF. You simply open ESF up through HL and go to the multiplayer. Search for a game and connect.

This is very over simplified. If you want far more detailed instructions you can go to #esf-help on mIRC and ask there.

after 5 years, youd think people knew how HL mods worked by now :/
