What is CONSOLE?...

Im guessing CONSOLE is like sigle player... but everytime i go and click on it this little thing that looks like this " ] " is all that appears...... so i was seeking help.... and also....... um......how do i get the graphics when im playing to look more neat...?....... thanx alot to n e one that can help........ bye............

The console is like a command prompt. You can access it in any Half-Life mod (and Half-Life itself) with the ~ button (ingame) and from the main menu. That is, if you have a shortcut to Half-Life that enables the console.
There's a lot of commands that can be entered in the console, and I think all the commands for ESF are somewhere around here on the forums... search around.

So the console has nothing to do with single player

for graphics u need a video card that is able to give u good graphics. once u have that u go to configuration>video>video modes>klick opengl or direct 3d tey are almost the same..
