Can't get it to work....please help

Well, I tried to get this working once before but since I was on dial-up I had problems with getting the necessary update time-wise. Now I'm on cable and lookin to try this awesome lookin' mod again. I've downloaded the latest version, got the update for Half-Life and installed and patched everything...but now when I start from the ESF icon it doesn't have the backgrounds like in the pictures here, I can't select DBZ models in the customize character screen, and I don't see ESF on the Filter list...can anyone please help...I really really wanna try this mod out

Alright, seems like you haven't even switched to the ESF mod.

Be sure to install ESF into the same directory of half-life. If you happen to be running half-life, click custom game. you'll see esf on a list and then you can activate it.

that should solve your problem, assuming that is your problem.
